• ElphaPex DG Home 1 is safely padded with foam pieces on all sides to prevent the ASIC from potential damage during shipping.
• Unbox it and place the ASIC on a flat surface.
• Below you can see all the options available on the ASIC. It shows Input voltage, ethernet cable, and Wi-Fi support.

• There is a list of what to do and what not to do list, pasted on the side of the ASIC. Users should check it before they start working with ElphaPex DG Home 1.

• You can either use 120 V or 240 V, as the ASIC supports both. Similarly, you can use either an ethernet cable or the Wi-Fi support of the ASIC for an internet connection.

Things to Consider Before Setting Up ElphaPex DG Home 1

Setting up the Elphapex DG Home 1 is a relatively simple process. It is a plug-and-play type like any other ASIC. Below are the few things you will need to get started with Dogecoin mining with ElphaPex DG Home 1.

• A Dogecoin address and
• A reliable Dogecoin wallet

If you don’t have them, you can directly mine into Coinbase if you prefer. However, it is recommended to have a dedicated address and wallet. If you prefer the easy way, you can opt for Coinbase, provided you reside in the United States.

Now, assuming you have a dedicated Dogecoin address and wallet, let’s move onto the setting up process of ElphaPex DG Home 1.

How to Setup ElphaPex DG Home 1?

1. Configuring the ASIC

• The next step is to find the IP address of your ElphaPex DG Home 1. You can get the IP address using either of the following steps.

~ You can log in to your router and get the IP address.
~ Alternatively, you can download free software, Angry IP Scanner, to get your ASIC’s address.
~ The software automatically scans your IP address. You can copy that address.

2. Accessing the ElphaPex DG Home 1 via the Web Browser

• Now, paste the copied IP address into the web browser.
• You can access the ASIC’s dashboard by using the default username and password “root.”

• You can change the password by clicking on the password tab on the left. Once done, click on the save button.

3. Connecting the Wi-Fi

• Unlike most ASICs, ElphaPex DG Home 1 has Wi-Fi support. You can connect to the Wi-Fi network by clicking on the Wi-Fi button on the left.
• Toggle the Wi-Fi button ON. It will list the network connections. You can choose the network from the list.

• However, connecting to the Wi-Fi is optional. You can always use a dedicated wired internet connection, as ElphaPex DG Home 1 has an ethernet cable connection as well.

4. Connecting to the Mining Pool

• Click on the Miner tab on the left to connect to the mining pool.

• If you’re not sure which mining pool to add, you can check the MiningPoolStats.Stream. You can pick any mining pool of your choice.

• Most of these mining pools would need you to log in and create an account. You will get your pool address and worker’s name from the mining pool itself.

5. Adding the Mining Pool

• Go to the Miner tab on the dashboard to add the mining pool.

• Enter the pool address, user name and your preferred password. Click on the save button. You can add backup pools if you want. It is highly recommended to add backup pools. Hence, even if one pool goes down, you can connect to the other mining pool.

6. Start Mining

• Once you enter all the required details and save them, the mining process will start within a few minutes.
• You can view the mining status in real time on the dashboard itself.
